This notice is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-12. This solicitation is a 100% for small business set-aside; the associated Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3663 (size: 750 Employees). The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure the following: one (1) each, Video Productions & Editing Systems, linear; consisting of editing recorder and reproducer, waveform vector monitor, master control editor switcher, audio cable, connectors, phono plug, digital processing system, frame video synchronizer, character generator, audio mono mixer, audio power amplifier, loud speaker, microphone, desktop microphone stand, carrying cases; one (1) each Video Acquisition Systems, consisting of: camcorder kit, serial component generator, serial digital analyzer digital audio analyzer/generator, microphones, headphones, tripod, batteries and charger, power supply, and miscellaneous cables, lamps, filters and cases; one (1) each Audio Acquisition Systems, consisting of: audio cassette recorder/reproducer, receiver, transmitters, microphones, and miscellaneous cables and grips. The equipment will be FOB Destination: McClellan AFB, CA. Requested delivery time is 30-45 days. Partial or incremental deliveries of systems components will not be authorized. Individual systems must be shipped complete. Split awards may result from this solicitation, if determined to be in the best interests of the Government, price and other factors considered.
