The National Park Service, Denver Service Center, 12795 West Alameda Parkway, Denver, Colorado 80225 is soliciting proposals from exhibit fabricators/installers with the capability to perform the work described below. Contract work will be performed for the Canyon View Information Plaza at Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded, requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's capability in comparison to its price and will make an award based on the best value to the Government. The work of this contract consists of fabrication, production, transportation, installation and fine tuning of all interpretive and hands-on/interactive exhibits and associated items. The project site is located on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in Grand Canyon National Park. All work will be completed by August 1, 2000. A Request for Proposals (RFP) will be issued approximately 21 days from the publication of this requirement, on or about 9/8/99. A pre-proposal site meeting will no be held.
