The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to the University Hospital Consortium (UHC) for a subscription service for medical publications. The contract will be for a base period, with four (4) renewable one (1) options. These Publications will provide the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration technology reports including: (1) UHC Drug Monographs, (2) Technology Reports, (3) Technology Assessments, (4) Clinical Practice Bulletins, (5) Technology Alert Newsletters, (6) Technology Surveillance Project Reports, from a unique representation of specific academic affiliated institutions. All responses must be made in writing and received within fifteen (15) calendar days after initial publication of this notice. Written responses must include a GSA contract number if applicable, pricing data and technical information that would demonstrate a vendor's bonafide ability to meet the specific requirements. If responses are received to the effect that this service is not available from an alternate source, then a contract will be awarded to University Hospital Consortium.
