Other requirement of the microscope is to be durable, & easy to operate; should incorporate a feature that allows for focusing of an item through the eyepiece rather than through a separate center ocular focusing tube. The evaluation and the determination as to the equality of the product, if not brand name, shall be the responsibility of the Government and will be based on information furnished by the offeror. To ensure sufficient information is available, the offeror must furnish as a part of the quotation- all descriptive material (such as cuts, illustrations, drawings or other information) necessary for the Government to determine whether the equal' product meets the salient characteristics of the requirement.
