The facilities, equipment, personnel, and other resources shall be provided within approximately 30 minutes commuting distance to the NIEHS, Research Triangle Park, NC (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) due to requirements for frequent transporting of mice by the Government for ongoing research; a lengthier commuting distance would also for seeably cause stress to the animals, which is unacceptable.
