The Farm Service Agency is seeking sources for the design of agricultural risk management multi-peril insurance products for potential implementation in a proposed South Africa pilot agricultural insurance program, and the production of coordinated "benefits of insurance" educational materials, including a pilot insurance training manual and a 15-20 minute pilot training video accompanied by a related three-fold pamphlet for producer use. The contractor will also provide an educational conference and an insurance trade show. Award of this effort will be made on an expedited commercial-item basis, with planned award by August 31, 1999. It should be noted that Departmental approval for this effort has not yet been received, and that it may not receive such approval.
