The Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center, Austin, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to Bell & Howell of Durham, North Carolina, for the maintenance of the following mailing/inserting equipment: 1) Inserter/folder model CEXP-4-PMPM, full service coverage with 12 inspections per year, 2) Mailstar 500, full service coverage with 12 inspections per year, and 3) Phillipsburg PF-1722 series PF-418B, Model 2PAR18x22, full coverage with 6 inspections per year. All responses from responsible sources will be considered. Responses must include sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the possibility of your firm to submit a valid proposal. The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published.
