The Government intends to purchase on a sole source all or none basis the following software items manufactured by the Mathworks Inc.: (1) Simulink concurrent all-platforms include Windows Unix and Linux to include one year software support (3 each); (2) Real-Time Workshop concurrent, all-platforms include Windows, Unix and Linux and includes one year software support (1 each); (3) Stateflow concurrent all-platforms, include Windows, Unix and Linux and includes one year software support ( 2 each); (4) Stateflow Coder concurrent, all-platforms include Windows, Unix and Linux and includes one year software support. All items shall be Y2K compliant and written documentation addressing this issue must be provided with the vendor's quote. Software support shall consist of all updates, upgrades, media, documentation and unlimited telephone support. The submarine Launch Ballistic Missiles (SLBM) is upgrading its in-house software product MathWorks MathLab on Distributed Graphics Network (DGSNET). This upgradewill provide Design Automation features to the MathLab software product. These software products are required by NSWCDD K41 Fire Control Formulation Branch for developing fire control computational specifications for United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) SLBM systems. This software is essential in supporting SLBM mission critical programs such as TRIDENT II, TRIDENT II BACKFIT, TRIDENT I, and UK TRIDENT II for current and future mission requirements. The MathWorks Inc. is the manufacturer and only source to provide this software and support. This software must be completely compatible with the Government's existing equipment. This requirement is to be processed using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All vendors shall provide the software and software support agreements along with their fax quote which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448 to Attention Code SD18, fax number 540-653-7016. All vendors must provide written documentation from TheMathworks Inc. giving them authorization to provide this software and support. All vendors shall provide their CAGE Code, Dunn and Bradstreet Number and their Tax Identification Number and must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration Database.
