Services. Concerns having the ability for providing a Comprehensive
Sanction Center for male and female offenders. Those interested are
requested to give written notification (including telephone number and
a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice.
Services required include care, custody, control, accountability,
training opportunities, and treatment to include furnishing of
subsistence and medical services, except the expense of hospital,
surgical, prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described
shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of
Work. Location of the facility shall be in the Snohomish County,
Washington area. An estimated number of inmate days are 14,620 for the
base period, 7,300 inmate days for option year one, 7,300 inmate days
for option year 2, and 7,300 inmate days for option year 3 (85% male
and 15% female). Estimated RFP issue date is September 20, 1999,
estimated closing date is November 18, 1999. Contract base period is
two years with three one-year option periods to renew. A requirements
contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
which shall be considered by this Agency. No collect calls will be
