J -- REPAIR OF REPAIRABLES IN SUPPORT OF THE FAST TACTICAL IMAGERY SYSTEM (FTI) SOL N68335-99-R-0312 DUE 090799 POC Cindy Rolenc, Contract Specialist, (732)323-2408 NAWCAD Lakehurst has been tasked to initiate a BOA with Phototelesis, Inc. for Repair of Repairables (ROR) and Contractor Maintenance and Engineering Technical Services (CM & ETS) for the existing Fast Tactical Imagery (FTI) system components, including its Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs), cables, flash memory cards, and associated related equipment delivered by the Contractor to the Government. The proposed ROR and CM & ETS BOA shall cover repair/maintenance services to be accomplished at the contractor's facility, interim spare/repair parts required, and on-site Contractor Engineering Technical Support Services for the above FTI system components. The term of the BOA shall be effective for a period of three (3) years. As specified above, the Navy has procured these items that may require contractor support services. The Government intends to negotiate this BOA under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Phototelesis is the sole designer and manufacturer ofthe repairables. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves within fifteen days. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
