Administration is seeking sources to remove plaster and paint at the
US Federal Cthse, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Scope of Work asks for
removal of loose and damaged plaster. Patching should be applied with
well-aged putty, enough gauging plaster to ensure a hard, well-bonded
patch. Two (2) steps should be used on all patchwork. A second coat
should be applied after the first base coat has hardened. Paint plaster
with a primer coat. Paint patches and surrounding area with a finish
coat. Paint is to match existing colors. If the patch work is on wall,
and/or ceiling, the whole wall and ceiling should be painted with
existing colors. Submit a cost per SF of damaged plaster. One cost for
the two story courtroom on the 2nd floor. One cost for the hallways
and stairwells. One cost for the office areas. Fix only the areas that
are below the drop ceilings. Total cost of this job is not to exceed
$35,000.00. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The
Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the
availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract
purposes can made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for
any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting
Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of
such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting
