This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 6TSA-99-JAG-0177 is being issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-11. This procurement is for the following item: CLIN 1. Netcracker Professional Software, Version 3.1, Qty. 8 copies, CLIN 2. Provide 24 hours of training on the software to a maximum of 16 employees at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma on September 13-15, 1999, the software is to be provided at the commencement of the training. The quote shall include travel expenses, if necessary. No substitutions will be allowed. Please include all requirements on quotations. No partial quotes. In accordance with FAR Part 19, this solicitation is set aside for small business participation. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition.
