J -- AGF-11/LPD 4/LSD 36 CLASS SHIPS IN THE SAN DIEGO AREA SOL N00024-99-R-8509 DUE 110999 POC Aaron Ford, NAVSEA 0285F (703) 602-7714 ext 295 and Rochelle Allen, Procuring Contracting Officer, SEA 0285A, (703) 602-7714 ext. 291 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a Phased Maintenance Program Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract (base year plus four option years) for advance planning, repair and modernization of the AGF-11/LPD 4/LSD 36 Class Phased Maintenance Availabilities (PMAs) and Docking Phased Maintenance Availabilities (DPMAs) in the San Diego, CA homeport area. This contract will include 10 PMAs and 4 DPMAs. The contract's period of performance will be from September 2000 through August 2005. The contract will also contain an inter-availability line item for maintenance during the contract period of performance. Place of performance is in the San Diego, CA homeport area. The contract award winner will not be offered the use of Navy drydocks. The Contractor will be responsible for providing facilities (i.e. drydock, pier, utilities etc).
