Production Estimates and Corp Assessment Division (PECAD) of the USDA
Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) uses multi-spectral satellite
imagery for the purpose of timely, world-wide crop-condition
assessment. The contractor must provide FAS/PECAD with digital
multi-spectral satellite imagery which includes the visible-red
(approximately 0.63-0.69 micrometers) and near-infrared (approximately
0.76-0.90 micrometers) spectral bands, with spatial resolution between
1 and 40 meters. The imagery must be provided in industry-standard
format. The contractor must be capable of delivering the data to PECAD
within two weeks of imagery-acquisition date. Any sources interested
