The refreshed solicitation adds Special Item Number 341-800 for Hand Tools, specifically Lawn and Garden dedicated (includes but not limited to -- lawn sprinklers, soaker hoses, garden hoses, grass sheers, pruning sheers, tree trimmers, pruning saws, lawn rakes, garden rakes, spading forks, pruning shears, weed whip cutters, manure forks, brush hooks, garden hoes, etc.) to the bid schedule. These items were previously procured under the Stock program. This is a standing solicitation which means that offers may be submitted at anytime. There is no closing date. Resulting contracts will be indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts with a contract duration of 5 years and an option provision to extend the contract for one additional 5 year period. The Hardware and Appliance Center (HAC) will no longer issue separate solicitations for items previously procured under the stock program. We will now be competing and establishing Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) against MAS contracts to fill requirements previously handled under stock. You must be a MAS contactor to participate in these BPA opportunities. BPA's awarded under MAS will be made to only one firm.
