The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order to DNE Technologies, 50 Barnes Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492 using the procedures of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commerical Items, and Part 13, Simplified Aquisition Procedures. The proposed purchase order is for 2 ea Multi-Module Non Return to Zero (NRZ) to Concitioned Diphase (CDI) signal converters (2-pack CV-2048M) and 9 ea Multi-Module NRZ to CDI signal converters (4 pack CV-2048M). DNE Technologies is the only firm that can meet the Government's requirements for proprietary reasons. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a request for quotation (RFQ) for information only will be be honored. Any responsible firm that believes that it has the capability to meet the Government's requirements may contact the contract specialist or submit a quotation. All responses will be fully considered. If no affirmative written responses are received by 17 September 1999 to the effect that a compaable source exists, an order will be placed with DNE Technologies for the requirements stated herein.
