This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement consititutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F41622-99-T0680 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquistition Circular 97-13. Line item 0001 is to provide a structural fire training session on location at the Brooks AFB Fire Protection Facility (bldg. 640). This training will include hot and cold smoke, fire attack, and ventilation in acordance with Air Force Instruction 32-2001 (1 April 1999), NFPA 1403 and 1500 (1997). Quantity: 1 Unit: EA No Ozone Depleting Certification (ODC) is required. The period of performance is no earlier than 1 Oct 99 or no later than 30 Nov 99. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 applies.
