This is a combine synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M6786599T0068 applies and is issued as a Request For Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-45 and Defense Acquisiton Circular 91-12.The Standard Industrial Code is 5211. The agency need is for Lumber. This requirement is for a fixed price contract for three line items as follows: Line Item 0001: Lumber, Beams, size 3"x10"x12", quantity:120 each; Line Item 0002: Lumber,Boards, Size 3"x8"x12", quantity 1,000 each; Line Item 0003: Lumber, Post, Size 8"x8"x16",quantity 54 each. Lumber will be pressured treated for use outdoors. Lumber and plywood must be grade stamped. If a grade stamp dose not exist or is not available for the supplies to be furnished, or when it would be impractical to grade stamp a particular item, each truck or rail car shipment must be supported by an official inspection certificate(at contractor's expense). Certificate to be issued by an approved agency as required by the contract/order. A mill certificate is not acceptable. Delivery of all items is required thirty (30) days after award of contract to be delivered FOB Destination to: MCAS Miramar, San Diego CA 92145. Acceptance shall be made at destination.
