There will be a base year plus 4 option years. There are approximately 55 miles of grooming in the trail system, but in low snow years it may be possible to only groom 15 miles of trail. There will be no pre-bid meeting. One staging area is near Bear River Resort located 25 miles east of Pioneer on State Highway 88. The other is at Iron Mountain located 28 miles east of Pioneer on State Highway 88. To actually locate the trail system, the best option is to obtain a map of the trail system. One will be included with the solicitation, or contact the district office @ 209-295-4251 or the Eldorado Information Center at 530-644-6048.
