Beard, Contracting Officer, (615) 313-2650 This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation DAHA40-99-R-0015 is issued as an RFP. This is a solicitation document and incorporates those provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. SIC code is 3663. This requirement is for the Tennessee Army National Guard to install additional equipment for the Presentation Room System. This addition of equipment will allow the users of this equipment to videoconference with any dialed network and to project a variety of images (Videoconferencing, VHS, DVD, Computer, CCTV, Document Camera, etc) onto large screens. It will combine the existing equipment ( 3M VCS3000) and the new with remote control interfaces. New equipment has to be compatible with the 3M VCS3000 already installed. The programming on the touch panel will make very complex A/V setups with a button press. This will make the room more flexible and easier to use. This flexibility will allow for training, lectures, videoconferencing, video production, sound re-enforcement and CCTV. Award shall be based on lowest price technical acceptable proposal.
