The Seattle District, Corps of Engineers is soliciting proposals for
Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) -- multiple award multi-year
contracts to perform non-personal services to provide for Miscellaneous
Environmental and Natural Resources Services for Fort Lewis Public
Works (PW) and Seattle District Corps of Engineers Activities. Three
indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts are anticipated to
be awarded as a result of this solicitation. As requirements develop,
task orders will be issued on a competitive or sole source basis for
the awardees of this solicitation at the Government's option. Each
contract will include a base year and three option periods. Maximum
value of all work awarded under the MATOCs will be limited to $4
million over the life of the contracts. Individual task orders will
vary in size, not- to-exceed $500,000. The work will include, but not
be limited to: surveys, data collection and analysis; reports;
management plans; maps; photographs; document reviews;training;
computer data management; environmental assessments; compliance audits;
permit preparation and regulatory agency coordination. Typical examples
are: Hazardous Waste (RCRA and MTCA/CERCLA); Hazardous Materials
(EPCRA); Solid Waste; Asbestos; Air Quality; Water Quality; Plant
Studies, Animal Studies; NEPA Compliance; Cultural Resources; GIS
Mapping and General Planning Studies. The contractor shall provide all
personnel, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, labor
and other items and services necessary to accomplish the job. Firms
desiring consideration must request a copy of the solicitation, RFP No.
DACA67-00-R-0009 in writing within ten calendar days after the date of
this publication; and must respond with the information requested

mailed. Solicitation will be issued on or about 08 Oct 1999 with
proposals due on or about 09 Nov 1999. Proposed procurement will result
