This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotations for the following items: (1) Excalibur RetrievalWare License for one physical server -- quantity one (1) each; (2) Excalibur RetrievalWare Fileroom option for one physical server -- quantity one (1) each; (3) RetrievalWare Concurrent User License -- quantity one (1) package of fifteen concurrent user licenses; and (4) Annual Maintenance Contract. This notice serves as the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act. Thissolicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The procedures identified in FAR 13.106 apply to this acquisition. Award shall be made to the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. Technical acceptability will be determined by the offerors ability to provide the items identified above. The following FAR clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
