This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Far Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number F4169199Q9095 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This is a Sole Source Solicitation other than full and open competition requirement. The SIC code is 7378. Requirement is to provide 1st Tier PC Docs Platinum Support for the Period of 1 Oct 99 thru 30 Sep 2000. Support provides technical services for 1st Tier Platinum Support for PC Docs in support of the Air Force Personnel Center Office Automation Local Area Network. 1st Tier Platinum Support provided by PC Docs is required in order to solve technical and complex problems associated with PC Docs Desktop, Cyberdocs, Fusion, and Imaging software in use by our Palace Compass Civilian Modernization program. It is mission critical we have direct access to PC Docs to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair any software problems encountered with this software as to minimize the impact of our support to our customers worldwide. 24 hour a day support is required. A Technical Account Manager assigned to review and monitor support activity, which is critical to our resolution of problems incurred. Access to customer support with questions or problems concerning products via phone, web or email as often as needed is also required. A bi-weekly activity report prepared and delivered via email summarizing all maintenance and support activity as well as on_site auditing during the support term. Interested parties capable of providing the above must submit written and technical proposals providing firm evidence of their ability to perform. _OR EQUALS_ will not be accepted. All responses will be fully considered,but must be submitted on 1st Tier PC Docs Platinum Support. Award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, therefore the evaluation procedures at FAR 13.106-2 will be used. Offerors must include price, price lists, and completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
