G -- LIFEGUARD WANTED SOL N00168-00-Q-C502 DUE 092799 POC Ms. Tracy Holland (301) 295-0286 The National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD is seeking sources to hire a lifegurad for th Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department. Qualified applicants must have current certification with the Red Cross Lifeguard Training, first aid, and CPR Professional (American Lifeguard Association will not be recognized). General duties will include sole responsibility for monitoring an indoor 75ft swimming pool, and two saunas. Each facility will be maintained regularly to include water tests, and provide monthly report on pool usage. Issuance of swimming equipment, monitor pool passes, and monitor pool reservations. Maintain and stock all necessary lifesaving equipment, and monitor supplies and other consumables used in the pool. Work hours are 5:30am to 11:00am, Monday thru Friday and 11:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Pool will be closed on all federal holidays.
