This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 99Q085 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). All references of "offers" are understood to be "quotations". The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The SIC code is 3691, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The U.S. Secret Service has a requirement for the purchase of five hundred (500) Model NTN8610 Lithium Ion High Capacity batteries to fit Motorola XTS 3000 portable radios. The contractor shall deliver the complete quantity; FOB Destination, to the U.S. Secret Service, IRMD, Radio Communications Branch, Washington Navy Yard, 245 Murray Drive SW, Washington, DC 20373-5824. Delivery to be completed within 30 days after receipt of award.
