FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure, on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Part 13, technical support for the Joint Operational Visualization Environment (JOVE) system. This requirement is to provide services commencing in FY00 and extending through 30 September 2000. Sarnoff Corporation is the only company with the requisite technical knowledge to provide JOVE technical support, training in JOVE system use and operation, and JOVE data support and operational staff in support of United States Atlantic Command (USACOM) training exercises. Sarnoff Corporation's support is essential to keep the JOVE system current and to customize its database for future exercises. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabili ty to respond to this requirement or to submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
