The Bid Opening Date is 27 October 1999 at 2:00 p.m. and the Site Visit will be on 6 October 1999 at 10:00 a.m. (See Section "L"). The Department of Navy (DON) intends to issue a Invitation for Bid (IFB) by means of competitive 8(a) set-aside procedures with qualified (SBA certified) contractors. The contract will be a combination firm-fixed price, indefinite quantity contract with Service Contract Wages. The contractor shall furnish everything needed to provide janitorial services in accordance with the contract requirements. The contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, management and supplies necessary to perform the requirements described in the contract. Janitorial service applies to all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, restrooms, office space, work areas, entrances, exterior areas around buildings, lobbies, storage areas, elevators and stairways. The terms of this contract is for one Base period of twelve (12) months plus four (4) twelve month option years. Services to begin 1 October 1999. The SIC Code is 7349 and the Small Business Size Standard is $12.0 million are applicable to this contract.
