J -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE MAINTENANCE CONTRACT SOL 629-41-99 POC Ronelda Brister, Contract Specialist, (504) 589-5945 Notice that the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1601 Perdido Street, New Orleans, LA 70146 intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with Computrols, 826 Lafayette Street, New Orleans, LA 70113, under authority of FAR 6.302. Computrols will provide service and maintenance for the Computrols Building Automation System (CBAS). To the Government's knowledge, the CBAS, including the hardware and software needed to maintain the system, was manufactured by Computrols and is considered proprietary technology. Scope of work includes maintaining the existing CBAS and supply and install all applicable updates to the CBAS program. Any other sources which are qualified to perform the stated work are requested to submit qualifications and experience performing such work on a CBAS within 5 calendar days of publication of this notice.
