This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement costitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation numbers F09650-99-Q-1517 and F09650-99-Q-1518. These solicitations are issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). These soliciation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The SIC Codes are 8748 and the small business size codes are $5M. The solicitations are for one year and three annual options. The solicitations contain CLIN 0001 for manpower support of one individual (Industrial Engineering Technician) required to support the Process Planning/Cost-estimating of Sheet Metal and Processes Office. CLIN 0002 is for data. These CLINs apply to all option years. These solicitations are set-aside for small businesses. The period of performance will begin 1 Oct 99. INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED PROPOSALS UNDER THE CONTRACTING WITH INDIVIDUALS PROGRAM NEED TO RE-CONFIRM THEIR PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED PROPOSAL BUT NEED NOT RESUBMIT AN AKKITIONAL PROPOSAL UNLESS THEY WISH TO UPDATE THEIR PREVIOUS PROPOSAL. These requirements require the services of one individual (each) equivalent to a GS-895-11, Industrial Engineering Technician, to support the Process Planning/Cost-estimating of the Sheet Metal and Processes Office at WR-ALC, Robins AFB GA. Evaluation of offers will be made on a best value basis. Evaluation factors, in descending order of importance are experience, past performance, price, education and general considerations.
