Carrasco Job Corps Center located in El Paso, Texas, will be available on the World Wide Web, Job Corps Acquisition Home Page, on or about October 15, 1999 at http://www.wdsc.org/jobcorps/schedule.html. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost-reimbursement plus fixed-fee for a 2 year base period of May 1, 2000 through April 30, 2002, plus three Governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 289 residential studens and 126 non-residential studens; 207 males and 208 females. The contractor will also be responsible for recruiting 431 students for this contract and placing 405 students. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 26, 1999 at the Carrasco Job Corps Center, 11155 Gateway West, El Paso, Texas 79936. There will be a tour of the facility following the pre-proposal conference. Upon entering the facility, participants must report to the Administration building. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the pre-proposal conference. Proposals in response to this RFP will consist of Oral Presentation and written submissions as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 1:00 PM local time, Wednesday, December 8, 1999 to the Dallas Regional Office.
