Medicine (NLM) to procure professional services on a sole source basis
with Dr. Alice K. Page, 7910 Radnor Road, Bethesda, MD 20817 to
continue her research services for two of National Bioethics Advisory
Commission's (NBAC) ongoing projects: "International Research Project
& Federal System of Human Subjects Protections". The additional
services included: providing primary research skills for two projects
mentioned above including analysis, writing portions of the reports,
integrating findings of contracted papers/projects into a format for
use in the reports, working with contractors, coordinating any
project-relating meetings for staff and participating as necessary at
the Commission meetings. Dr. Alice K. Page is training in political
science, bioethics, law and public health. She has been a practicing
attorney, whose work has included health law. She has extensive
experience in both State and Federal courts. She has advanced research
skills that will be crucial to NBAC's completion of these projects.
Dr. Page's knowledge and research skills are necessary for the
continued ongoing projects, who excelled in this specific field. This
service will procure under FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisitions). This
is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available,
however, all responsible and responsive sources may submit a proposal
which will be considered by the NLM. Firms interested in responding to
this notice must be able to provide professional service as specified
as listed above. Responses should sufficiently demonstrate the firm's
ability to meet the government's requirements. Responses are required
within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this
