This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). ITEM: High production console helium leak detector ************ MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: -- failure to submit a capabilities statement which addresses each specification may render your bid void ************* *Power : 115/60 (V/Hz) *Cabinet-type (Not a portable unit) *Sensitivity: 5.0E-11 (must be measured in sccs) *Turbo Pumping Speed: 50 liters per second *Gross Leak Pressure : 100 (torr) *Fore Pumping Speed: 7 (cfm) *Internal Calibration: Traceable to NIST *Start/Test : Automatic *Warranty: 1 year (parts & labor) *Loss of Power Vacuum: The leak detector should not vent to atmosphere if power to the machine is interrupted. *Selectability:The leak detector must have the capability to easily select between He-4 and He-3 as the trace gas to be detected. The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-10. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 4953 and $6 million, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to GSFC is required within 30 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9.
