14 -- TACTICAL TOMAHAWK WEAPONS CONTROL SYSTEM (TTWCS) ENGINEERING ANALYSES AND STUDIES POC Frank Fisher, Contract Specialist, (301)757-5936) The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a cost plus fixed fee modification under NAVAIR contract N00019-99-C-0049 for engineering analyses and studies of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) to examine enhancements to the system, explore new and improved interfaces, define new TTWCS requirements, examine various land attack weapons control systems integration, explore software migrations and other similar tasks as may be required. NAVAIR intends to negotiate the proposed modification on a sole source basis with Lockheed Martin Management and Data Systems, King of Prussia, PA. Lockheed Martin is the prime contractor for the development of the TTWCS. Only Lockheed Martin has the technical expertise, understanding of the TTWCS system architecture, and access to Lockheed proprietary data necessary to perform the required effort.
