This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solilcitation; proposals are being requested and a written solilcitation will no be issued. Sollicitation 671-10Q-00 is issued as a request for quotations, (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. This action is unrestricted. Standard Industrial Classification Code 5047 applies. These supplies meet the criteria for a commercial item as defined in FAR Part 2, and simplified acquisition procedures will be used in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 13.5 Test Program. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, (STVHCS) has a requirement for the following item: Angio Seal Hemostatic Skin Closure Devices Part # 8888-610089, or equal, 10 per case with annual estimated requirement of 120 cases. The term of the contract will be for one year with two twelve month option years at the discretion of the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. Prices should be FOB DESTINATION. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference herein. The FAR provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference herein.
