TRADOC Acquisition Center, Fort Eustis, VA intends to solicit and award a contract for renovation services of existing classroom space to accommodate Classroom XXI technology. The intended contract is a firm fixed price with economic price adjustment, requirements contract. The contract will be for a base 12-month period and nine (9) 12-month option periods for a total of 10 12-month performance periods. The action is being procurement under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program at Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19.10. There are approximately 270 classrooms at 20 Government installations CONUS wide. There are O-CONUS is not anticipated at this time. The contractor will be provided with a design concept and will be required to perform a site visit for each task order issued. Contractor will be required to revise the design concept to accommodate the existing classroom space and perform all renovation to include, but not limited to: wiring, HVAC, raised flooring, celiing replacement,etc., and provide all furnishing to include, but not limited to: racks, desks, chairs, teaching stations,ect. and all "finishing touches" to include, but not limited to, carpeting, painting, etc. The contractor will be required to warranty the design plan and all work associated with the renovation. Contractor will be responcible for providing personnel with all necessary licenses and certificaitons required by various state laws. Written documentation will be required by the closing date established with the solicitation. Evaluation will be on a "Best Value" basis. A competitive range of the top five (5) proposals based on the written documentation will be established and those 5 vendors will be required to present an oral presentation. The solicitation will be placed on the TRADOC Acquisition Center web page at www.tac.eustis.army.mil on or about 2 November 1999. There will be no written copies of the solicitation or amendments provided. Interested vendors will be required to download the soliciation from the web site and periodically check the site for amendments.
