The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to acquire on a sole source basis from Unisys Corporation, 8008 Westpark Drive, McLean, VA 22102 installation of IWS/LAN hardware and software, consisting of a three workstation LAN, at iLevy & Associates, St Louis, Missouri. The LAN will be used to perform Year 2000 compliance testing for the Disability Determination Service (DDS). The equipment, software and configurations will duplicate equipment, software and configurations provided by Unisys Corporation under SSA contract 600-96-26459 and will be ordered and installed for testing prior to November 22, 1999. Because of the need to test specific IWS/LAN hardware and software configurations in a short time frame, Unisys Corporation is the only firm capable of providing the required hardware, software and services. Any literature or information submitted as a response to this notice, must contain enough information attesting to the capability of the vendor to meet SSA's requirement. Respondents should refer to Y2K DDS IWS/LAN TEST. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided.
