SPECIAL NOTICE FOR LOGISTICS DATA SYMPOSIUM APRIL 2000 The U.S. Army Tank-automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM) plans to have a Logistics Data Symposium 4-6 April 2000. The Michigan Chapter National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) provides administrative support for planning this event. It will be held at the Northfield Hilton Hotel in Troy, MI. The symposium brings together Government and Industry personnel to discuss issues and concerns relevant to the constant changes in the logistics environment. This forum affords the opportunity for networking and enhancing lines of communication in a non-adversarial atmosphere. This year's theme "Military Logistics to 2010 and beyond" encompasses all aspects of the future of Military Logistics. The presentations will focus on the following: Logistics Modernization, Cooperative/Coalition Logistics, New Technologies, Research & Development, Future Maintenance Technologies, Future Combat Vehicles, What's Next in Acquisition/Logistics Reform, and 21st Century Transportation. The symposium will provide insight on future military concepts & strategies during peacetime and wartime. Representatives from government and industry will describe the logistical and technical support required to meet the Department of Defense mission. The symposium will offer formal presentations, joint workshops, exhibits, demonstrations and open discussions. EXHIBITORS: This year NDIA Michigan Chapter is offering 8' by 10' exhibition booths. They are limited and we recommend you respond early. These booths are available at $900 each for the duration of the symposium. This $900 fee will also include the availability, on a first come, first served basis, of a business meeting room for exhibitors. In addition there is space available for tabletop displays along the entrance halls, as well as outdoor display areas. Tabletop space will be available for $300 for the duration of the symposium. Poster display areas will be available for $100 and outdoor displays are approximately $900 (dependent on space requirements). Space will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. NDIA is offering each exhibitor a registration fee discounted rate of $190 for two representatives. This will allow two representatives from your organization to participate in symposium sessions, as well as meals.
