Crawford, Contracting Officer, (919)541-7685,Fax (919)541-2712 The contractor shall provide on-site and off-site qualified personnel to perform computer support and central files support for the National Toxicology Program (NTP). The contractor's facility shall be within 15-20 minutes computing distance from the National Institute of Environmental Health Services in the Research Triangle Park, NC. Services will be ordered by the issuance of task orders. In the area of computer support, the services will involve, but is not limited to, database administration and systems support, software development and maintenance, quality assurance, user and technical support. This area will also involve maintenance of the hardware for the Laboratory Data Acquisitions System (LDAS II). A total of 55 LDAS workstations are currently located in nine NTP laboratories in the US and two in Europe. In the area of central files, the contractor will be required to provide eight on-site qualified personnel to provide support in the area of collecting and entering various information relating to the study of Chemtrack, CSTS, CF, Telreq, Regact and Contracts database systems. They will be required to maintain all paper documents, containing information relating to various NTP chemical testing from the nomination/selection process through the study, design, and evaluation..
