The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG) Arizona has a requirement to construct three office buildings. Size of the buildings shall be one at 2,400 S.F. and two at 2,800 S.F. The project will also include design. The exterior finish on the buildings shall be stucco with red metal roofs. Site-work is to include installation of sidewalks, landscape walls and extending water, sewer, and electricity to the new buildings. In addition the USAYPG has a requirement to design and construct a 1,400 S.F. office addition to Bldg. 3000, the Airfield Operations Building at the USAYPG. The addition shall match the existing construction which is stucco on steel framing and has a built-up roof. The buildings must be available for occupancy by 1 July 2000. This requirement is a small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542 with a size standard of $17.0 million. Selection of the successful contractor will be made using the best value procedures found in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101.
