SP -- A-76 COST COMPARISON STUDY AT NAVAL AIR STATION JOINT RESERVE BASE, FT WORTH, TEXAS IN ACCORDANCE WITH OMB CIRCULAR NO. A-76 This notice is issued to announce the conduct of a cost comparison study of base operating support (BOS) and quality of life (QOL) functions at Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base (NAS JRB) Ft Worth, Texas. Specific functions to be studied are the Navy's Public Works, Transportation, Administrative Support, Automated Information Systems and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (including the child development and family support centers). The intent of this study is to determine whether these services should be performed under contract with a commercial source or through the federal work force. The resulting contract, if any, will be awarded on an all or none basis as a fixed price contract. The contract performance period will consist of a base year period with four one year options.
