The Department of Interior (DOI), National Business Center (NBC), has a requirement to lease commercial off the shelf hardware/software computer equipment for its Reston, VA office. The requirement has a performanced based statement of work and the NBC has specific hardware and software configurations that are the Government's minimum requirements. The type of computer equipment to be leased will include desktop computers, servers, laptops and peripherals that will also include maintenance and spare parts for the equipment. The equipment will be delivered to the Department of Interior, National Business Center Reston, VA office. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining and tracking the hardware, software inventory and updating the system catalogs during the performance of the contract. The Government is looking for innovative techniques for leasing this equipment over a three year period and offerors are encouraged to provide unique pricing ideas with their proposals. The applicable SIC code is 7377 with a small business size not to exceed $18M. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type of contract and have a base period and two (2) one year options. See numbered note 1. This requirement is being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.5, Commercial Test Program. Offerors will be required to provide a minimum of a three (3) year warranty on all equipment being supplied under this requirement. Refurbished or prototype equipment will not be acceptable.
