Contractor shall provide all plant, materials, equipment, tools and labor required to perform the work necessary to complete the project in accordance with the contract specifications and drawings to maintain and repair existing roofs and construct new roofs on Elmendorf AFB, AK. Work consists of but not limited to: remove existing built-up roof system, asbestos removal, new 4 ply modified built-up roof system, new fluid-applied elastomeric roof system, new metal roof panels, new 2 ply with flood coat, and others. Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 -- $5,000,000.00. Performance period is 22 February 2000 through 21 February 2001 for the Base Year and 365 calendar days for the First Option and Second Option Years, if exercised. Solicitation will be available on or about 10 December 1999 with a Closing Date of 10 January 2000. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Specifications and drawings will be available on CD ROM only. Format for the specifications is Word 6.0. The drawings are AutoCad 14 and will include the AutoCad Viewer. There is a limited supply of CD's and will be given out on a first come first serve basis until depleted. Package will be sent upon written request. This project is open to both large and small business and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
