Potential offerors should monitor these sites for release of the RFP documents -- IN ORDER TO ASCERTAIN THE METHOD OF PROCUREMENT, QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESS, HUBZONE, SMALL DISADVANTAGED, 8(a), AND WOMEN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS ARE REQUESTED TO SUBMIT A "CAPABILITY STATEMENT" TO THIS OFFICE. Information furnished must include, but not limited to; name and address of firm; size of business; average annual revenue for the past 3 years; number of employees; ownership and whether they are small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, 8(a) and/or woman-owned; number of years in business; affiliate information such as parent; company or teaming partners; potential services to be subcontracted, if any; and list of customers (government and non-government) covering the past 5 years highlighting relevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of each procurement, and point of contact/addresses/and telephone numbers. Detailing all relevant technical qualifications, interested firms should also include in their capability statement demonstrative information relative to past performance and experience in managing a workforce and performing work similar to the requirements of this procurement. Capability statements should be no longer than 10 pages in length and should be recerived in this office no later than November 17, 1999. If sufficient interest is NOT received by November 17, 1999, the Government reserves the right to issue this RFP UNRESTRICTED. -- The SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) is 1761; Size Standard is $7.0 MIL; and the FSC Code is Z119. -- Work includes providing all labor, material, supervision, transportation, tools and equipment necessary and performing all operations in connection with the removal of existing 38,000 SF EPDM roofing, flashing, insulation, deteriorated steel roof deck, roof drains, and metal fascia; and installation of new 38,000 SF modified bituminous membrane roofing, flashing, insulation, metal fascia, reinstalling existing roof drains and installation of 3 new roof drains. Related work includes storm water piping from new drain locations to existing vertical storm water risers, protective sheeting, tarpaulins, temporary partitions, temporary doors, and closures as required.
