14 -- BQM-74E AERIAL TARGET POC Tracey L Logan, Fax: 301-757-5956, email: logantl@navair.navy.mil Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a sole source modification to Northrop Grumman Corporation, El Segundo, CA, under contract N00019-96-C-0132, for procurement of a FY00 Lot of approximately 90 BQM 74E Aerial Targets (Part Number 89500), launch kits, spares, and technical data . The Navy has determined that the BQM-74E is the only target that can satisfy the requirement within the appropriate timeframe. (This procurement is separate from the BQM Follow-on Aerial Target competition that was previously synopsized. The RFP for the BQM Follow-on competition is anticipated to be released around January 2000.) This synopsis is published for information purposes only.
