D -- INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award a follow-on sole source purchase order utilizing BPA N68939-97-A-0017 to the incumbent firm, Lockheed Martin Federal Systems. The contractor will provide Live Site support including technical response to hotline calls on a 24 hour, 7 day basis; site visits to resolve emergency issues; and emergency hardware maintenance support on a 9 hour, 5 day basis. The period of performance for this order will be 6 months with a 6 month option to allow for a competitive follow-on. This request is considered to be sole source to Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement.
