The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington has a commercial item requirement to procure sea export and sea import cargo data for the U.S., Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, and Colombia. Air Cargo data for Ecuador will also be delivered. The intended sole source for this requirement is Tradebytes, Inc. Tradebytes, Inc. is the only known source that can provide this information commercially. Information shall be delivered in the standard format of the shipping industry for all cargo manifest data. The Contractor will deliver cargo data via the Office of Naval Intelligence's customized "Claudio" Internet site which includes a preformatted data base structure for the receipt of data from cargo manifests. Data shall be delivered daily. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract consisting of a base period, to commence on 01 February 2000 through 30 September 2000, four option years, plus the period afforded under FAR 52.217-8. This contract will be awarded using the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items procedures located in FAR Part 13.5.
