Contractor shall field verify any/all measurements, quantity, conditions, or value stated by the government. This work shall include, but is not limited to the following: Complete installation of stand-alone DDC (direct digital control) panels to operate the existing heat exchangers and heating pumps (three systems total). All control components shall be replaced with new. All wiring shall be replaced with new. Complete installation of stand-alone DDC (direct digital control) panels to operate the existing air handling unit, AHU-1, serving the dining room. Existing control components shall be re-used as possible. A new Variable Frequency Drive shall be provided for AHU-1. A new 3 way control valve shall be provided for AHU-1 heating coil. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough is to be attended by all interested bidders. Interested bidders should call 907-552-5356 for time and date of walkthrough. Therepair will be at the Kenai Dining Hall, Elmendorf AFB, AK. Magnitude is between $25,000.00 -- $100,000.00. Performance period will be 30 days from day of notice of award. Solicitation will be available on or about 29 November 1999 with a closing date of 02 December 1999 at 4:00pm. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This project is open to both large and small business and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
