The project is to construct Mainside Distribution Feeder 'A' -- Phase 2 for the Public Works Center at the Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. The work consists of the construction of primary and secondary duct banks, pad mounted transformers, pad mounted switchgear, primary and secondary cable, secondary switchboards and incidental related site work. -- This project is based on 100% design plans and specifications. -- Estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. -- The performance period is 365 days. -- The SIC Code is 1731; size standard is $7.0 million; the FSC Code is Z249. -- This will be a Firm Fixed Priced contract. -- The proposed project will be advertised as "UNRESTRICTED -- COMPETITIVE". -- The solicitation will be formatted as a Request for Proposal (RFP) in accordance with the requirements designated by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15 for negotiated procurements utilizing Source Selection procedures of FAR 15.3.
