The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement for the procurement of approximately seven (7) Advanced Tactical Air Reconnaissance Systems (ATARS) (or such other procurement quantities as Congress may authorize and fund) for Full Rate Production. This procurement also includes shipping containers, sustaining engineering, integrated logistics support, technical publications and related data. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate with Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems (LMFS), the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of ATARS.
