concerns having the ability to provide community based, non-secure
juvenile services in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons
Statement of Work, Non-Secure Contract Juvenile Facility for male
juvenile federal offenders in the state of Nevada are requested to give
WRITTEN notification to the contracting officer listed in this notice.
The notification should include the complete name of the firm, name of
contact person, actual address and mailing address, telephone number
and fax number. Services are required for juvenile care, custody,
control accountability and treatment to include furnishing subsistance,
and medical services except the expenses of hospital, surgical,
prescriptions and dental treatment. The services described shall be
provided in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of
Work(SOW), "Non-Secure Contract Juvenile Facility", dated May 11, 1998
as amended. No operational hotel/motel will be considered as an
acceptable facility for this requirement. A
firm-fixed-price-requirements type contract is anticipated with a two
year base period and three one year option periods. The base period is
January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2002. The estimated number of
male inmate days for the base period is 2,190. The first option year
period is January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003. The second option
year period is January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004. The third
option year period is January 1, 2005 through December 31, 2005. The
estimated number of male inmate days for each of the three option year
period is 1,095. The estimated issuance date for the Request for
Proposals(RFP)200-0580-WR(soliciation) is December 20, 1999. The
estimated closing date for the RFP is February 21, 2000. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by
this agency. NO collect phone calls will be accepted. No telephone
calls requesting copies of the RFP will be accepted. ALL REQUESTS FOR
THE RFP MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO: Elaine Peebles, Contract
